About the Product

Warfarin 2 mg Tablet is a blood thinner (anticoagulant) used to prevent and treat abnormal blood clots. It works by slowing down the clotting process, which helps keep the blood flowing smoothly and reduces the risk of clots forming in the veins, lungs, heart, or brain. Doctors commonly prescribe it to prevent stroke, heart attack, deep vein thrombosis (DVT), and pulmonary embolism (PE). The 2 mg strength is often used for maintenance therapy based on regular blood test results (PT/INR).

Common side effects include easy bruising, mild bleeding (like gum or nosebleeds), and dizziness. Serious but rare side effects include severe internal bleeding, vomiting blood, black/tarry stools, or severe headache. Seek immediate medical help if you notice these symptoms.

Used to prevent and treat blood clots and to reduce the risk of stroke, DVT, PE, and heart complications.

Take Warfarin 2 mg Tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Regular blood tests (PT/INR) are needed to adjust the dose safely. Do not change your dose or stop the medicine without medical advice. Avoid sudden changes in your diet, especially foods rich in vitamin K (like spinach, kale, and other green leafy vegetables), as they can affect the medicine’s effectiveness. Inform your doctor about all other medications you are taking. This medicine is not recommended during pregnancy unless specifically prescribed.
