Sucraziff Suspension is a gastro-protective formulation containing Sucralfate 1000mg per 5ml. Sucralfate is a locally acting agent that forms a physical barrier over ulcerated or inflamed gastric tissue. It binds selectively to proteins exuding from ulcers, forming a protective, adhesive complex that shields the affected area from gastric acids, bile salts, and digestive enzymes. This protective mechanism not only accelerates healing but also provides significant relief from pain and discomfort. Sucraziff is especially useful in conditions that require mucosal protection and regeneration, such as gastric ulcers, duodenal ulcers, and drug-induced erosions. It is sugar-free and well tolerated across age groups when taken as directed by a healthcare provider.

About the Product

Sucraziff Suspension is generally well tolerated. However, some patients may experience mild side effects such as constipation, dry mouth, nausea, or bloating. In rare cases, hypersensitivity reactions, dizziness, or sleep disturbances may occur. Long-term or high-dose use may interfere with the absorption of certain medications or nutrients.

Sucraziff Suspension is primarily indicated in the treatment and management of active duodenal ulcers and benign gastric ulcers. It is also used in the prevention of stress ulcers in critically ill patients and for managing esophagitis due to gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). In addition, it may be prescribed to reduce symptoms of epigastric pain, heartburn, and acid indigestion in cases of gastritis and mucosal inflammation. The suspension form makes it particularly suitable for pediatric, geriatric, and post-operative patients who have difficulty swallowing tablets.

Sucraziff should be taken on an empty stomach, usually 1 hour before meals and at bedtime, or as directed by the physician. It should not be taken together with antacids or certain oral medications as it may affect their absorption. Always maintain a gap of at least 2 hours between doses. Shake well before use.

Store below 25°C in a dry place, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if the packaging is damaged or after the expiry date.
