Permitime Plus Lotion is an advanced topical formulation designed for the treatment of scabies and lice infestations. The active ingredient Permethrin is a potent antiparasitic agent that targets and eliminates scabies mites and lice, while Cetrimide, a mild antiseptic, helps cleanse and prevent secondary bacterial infections that can result from scratching or skin irritation caused by infestations.
This combination of Permethrin and Cetrimide makes Permitime Plus Lotion highly effective for treating both scabies and head lice in adults and children above the age of 2. The 5.0% Permethrin concentration provides effective eradication of the infestation by paralyzing the parasites and preventing their ability to reproduce, while Cetrimide works to clean and soothe the affected skin areas.
The lotion is designed for easy application and is suitable for external use. After application, it is left on the affected area for a specified period to ensure optimal effectiveness before being washed off. The lotion is well-tolerated by most individuals and ensures minimal systemic absorption, making it safe for localized application to the skin and scalp.
Possible side effects include skin irritation, redness, or burning sensations at the site of application. Allergic reactions may occur in sensitive individuals.
