This tablet is a combination of two diuretics (water pills) used to remove excess salt and water from the body while maintaining a healthy potassium balance. Furosemide helps get rid of extra fluid quickly by increasing urine production, which reduces swelling and eases the workload on the heart. Spironolactone also removes water but helps the body retain potassium, preventing low potassium levels that can happen with other diuretics. Together, they are often prescribed to treat swelling (edema) caused by heart failure, liver cirrhosis, or kidney problems, and to help control high blood pressure in some cases.

About the Product

This tablet is a combination of two diuretics (water pills) used to remove excess salt and water from the body while maintaining a healthy potassium balance. Furosemide helps get rid of extra fluid quickly by increasing urine production, which reduces swelling and eases the workload on the heart. Spironolactone also removes water but helps the body retain potassium, preventing low potassium levels that can happen with other diuretics. Together, they are often prescribed to treat swelling (edema) caused by heart failure, liver cirrhosis, or kidney problems, and to help control high blood pressure in some cases.

Common side effects include increased urination, dizziness, dehydration, low blood pressure, and stomach upset. Rarely, it may cause high potassium levels (from spironolactone) or very low potassium levels (from furosemide if the balance is off), irregular heartbeat, or hormonal changes such as breast tenderness.

Used to treat edema (fluid retention) due to heart failure, liver or kidney disorders, and to manage fluid overload while maintaining potassium levels.

Take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not take potassium supplements or salt substitutes unless advised. Regular blood tests may be needed to monitor kidney function and potassium levels. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have kidney or liver disease. Take the dose early in the day to avoid waking up at night to urinate.

Store in a cool, dry place below 30°C, away from sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children and use only before the expiry date.
